Books

1. J.K. Rowling’s Original Sketch of the Hogwart’s Castle

Admit it, you’re curious. Everyone wants a peek behind the curtain of famous books/authors, and it hardly gets more famous than the boy wizard.

2. Fantasy Book Critic’s Top 10 Books of 2017

If you’re looking for something newer to wet your fantasy whistle check out this list from Fantasy Book Critic. Although, the list is clearly incomplete because “Into the North” isn’t on it.

Movies/Shows

3. Den of Geek’s “Black Panther” Comics Reading Guide

So you’ve seen “Black Panther”, or want to see it, and you’re thinking maybe you should catch a few of the comics too. But there are so freaking many of them you don’t know where to start! 4. “The Last Jedi” Novelisation Provides a Glimpse Into Snoke’s Past

For all those who were frustrated about the lack of backstory on Supreme Leader Snoke in “The Last Jedi”, good news. The buzz is that the upcoming novelization will have us covered, with information about Snoke’s past, his connection with Luke Skywalker, and how he seized control and transformed the Empire into the First Order.

Video Games

5. 6 Video Game Remakes That Are Better Than The Original

While I would argue that some of these are not actually remakes, since they basically just ported the original game to new platforms. Still, they make some interesting points here.

6. PC Mag’s 7 Video Games Everyone Should Play At Least Once

Sorry, PC Mag, but nobody needs to play a game with Super Bowl in the title.

Here you can choose any or all from up to 60 fantasy titles, both previews and full novels. Included among them is a preview of “Chronicles of the Roc Rider” for any who may still be wondering if they want to take the plunge and try my own offering.

8. 7 Photos From Famous Authors’ Diaries

Ever wanted a glimpse inside the minds of some of our famous thinkers? Well, Bookstr may have the next best thing with these photos from the diaries of some famous writers.
