What I’m Reading, March 2017

I’ve almost got too darn many books going at once right now (as if such a thing were possible). However, I’ve decided to stop including books I’m still working on from previous “What I’m Reading” posts, as I don’t think it adds much value to the post. If you’re really interested in knowing when I finish a title connecting with me on Goodreads is a better way. Anywho, here’s what I’m in right now.

Revenant by Kat Richardson

The final novel in the Greywalker series. I’m listening to it in audio, just as I have all the others, and it is just as awesome as the remainder of the series leading up to it. Harper, the small time PI turned greywalker who serves as the series protagonist, is just as kick butt in Europe as she in in Seattle. This is one of the few series I actually like vampires in and so far the vampire Carlos isn’t disappointing either.

Romeo and/or Juliet by Ryan North

A chooseable path adventure book for teens (a title I wanted to read anyway but also counts for the YALSA HUB challenge), this book has been pure delight. In places its serious, but its main goal is to be funny and accessible and it achieves both spectacularly. To be fair, I’ve only just completed the Juliet branches right now, because I’m one of those that has to do my best to see how every branch ends in these. I’m just getting started on the part of the book from Romeo’s point of view but so far its pretty great also. Although my chooseable path game won’t be as funny as this, its serving as a huge inspiration.
